Grades

Grading formula

There are several grades, with values in [0,1], obtained during the semester

  • K1 (first written control): on 12/09
  • K2 (second written control): on 26/09
  • K3 (third written control): on 10/10
  • MK (main written control): during winter session 25-31/10
  • K4 (fourth written control): on 14/11
  • K5 (fourth written control): on 28/11
  • K6 (sixth written control): on 12/12
  • L1 (first listok): due on ???
  • L2 (second listok): due on ???
  • L3 (first listok): due on ???
  • B (Bonus for active participation)

The sum of these scores is the semester grade S

  • If S \le 5, then you need to pass a minimal test to confirm your grade as the final grade.
  • If S > 5, then you may decide
    1. You do not pass the oral exam. In this case you need to pass a minimal test and 5 becomes your final grade.
    2. You pass the oral exam, graded in U\in [-3,10]. You final grade then is \tfrac{2}{3}S+\tfrac{1}{3}U.
